The journey is just beginning… Beyond the Gates is our first major construction and renovation at the 7168 Columbia Gateway Masjid.
On Feb 28th, 2025, Allah(SWT) blessed our community with an incredible Masjid property in Howard County, MD. This immense blessing has not only left us in awe and gratitude, but with the deep conviction that anything is possible with sincere intentions, dua and effort.
Beyond the Gates aims to create a functional 20,000+ square foot space to accommodate our largest programs and services, by Ramadan 2026, inshAllah.
Project Milestones

Alhamdullilah we received the keys to 7168 Columbia Gateway drive on 2/28/2025 (right at the start of the blessed month of Ramadan). After Ramadan our leadership’s sole focus has been on opening the builidng.
To do that we initiated a Day 0 plan, henceforce known as the “Beyond the Gates” project. The intent of this project is to make the space function to accomodate Jummah. Bigger projects to turn this facility into our Dream Masjid are forthcoming inshAllah!

We contracted with a local business in our community, MA Structural to complete the U&O Permit set which includes a Mechanical, Engineering and Plumbing Drawings (MEP)

We have purchased the new property and thank you for helping us raise $7.5M. Before opening for Jummah and prayers, we must complete updated site plans and use/occupancy permits. We will keep you informed and share updates during Jummah. Please continue making dua’ for an easy process and acceptance of this sadaqa jariyah.
