Imam Al-Nawawi's Forthy Hadith- HS Halaqa

$50.00

Step into a space designed just for our high schoolers, where the timeless words of the Prophet ﷺ meet the real questions, challenges, and struggles of growing up today.

We’re excited to introduce a new weekly class at MFC exploring Imam al-Nawawi’s Forty Hadith (al-Arbaʿīn al-Nawawiyyah)—one of the most widely studied collections of Prophetic teachings in the Islamic tradition. Compiled by the renowned scholar Imam Yaḥyā ibn Sharaf al-Nawawi, the collection brings together foundational teachings on faith, worship, character, and spirituality. For centuries, students of knowledge have studied these hadith as a concise foundation for understanding and living Islam.

In this course, each hadith serves as a doorway for the core aspects of a young Muslim’s life—strengthening personal conviction, building moral character, navigating friendships and family, mastering everyday worship, and caring for the heart. We’ll take a foundational classical text and connect it directly to the modern questions and pressures our youth face.

Classes will be interactive and discussion-based, with activities designed to make learning engaging and relevant, with the opportunity to earn an ijāzah (certificate) from Imam Sami upon completion. Beyond the classroom, students will build genuine brotherhood and sisterhood with their peers and participate in a hands-on service component, putting what they learn into action for the benefit of their community.
