MFC Middle School Youth Boys Meet

Grades 6-8 | REGISTRATION REQUIRED | 2 days a month
This meet is a bimonthly gathering for our younger middle school brothers, grades 6-8. It is an opportunity to discuss contemporary topics, as well as join other exciting indoor and outdoor activities! If you would like to join this amazing group of young men and experience the camaraderie, the purpose, and the fun register below!
We will be inviting multiple role models from our community to join the discussions and activities as well. We look forward to seeing you, inshAllah!
Fee: Monthly subscription $30/month. Some off-site activities may require additional fees. Free for community sustainers.
2 days a month/some weekend offsite activities
Duration: 2 hours

Age: Grades 6-8

Br. Haris Ansari
Br. Haris Ansari has been part of our community since 2013. He has 7 years of experience working with youth, hosting halaqas for local Muslim teenagers, ranging from middle school to early college. He was involved with the Young Muslims core team at ISB for 2 years. Afterwards, he was on the Youth Board at ISB. He served as the President for the MSA at the university of Maryland College Park. He was the co-President of the Graduate MSA at Georgetown University.
Br. Yousaf Seyal
Yousaf Seyal was born and raised on the East Coast. In his teens, Yousaf traveled to Damascus where he studied Arabic at Abu Noor University followed by several years of Islamic Studies at the prestigious Ma’had al-Fatih. As a result of the Arab Spring, Yousaf continued his studies at Zaytuna College where he received his BA in Islamic Law and Theology ’17 and then MA in Islamic Law ’20. Yousaf is an IB AQI teacher at Tarbiyah Academy in Maryland and teaches an online course on Imam al-Ghazali’s Book of Knowledge for Children. He strives to increase his knowledge by reading and be more caring as he enjoys service work. During his free time, he enjoys traveling, photography, blogging, exploring new cafes, and everything mango!
